DRFC Hayter scoops monthly award

DRFC Hayter scoops monthly award

Doncaster Rovers striker James Hayter has won the npower Championship Player of the Month for November.

The striker enjoyed a great month in front of goal scoring in four of Rovers five fixtures.

Npower head of sponsorship Emma Collins said, "James Hayter has been in form recently and fully deserves the npower Championship Player of the Month Award."

With leading goalscorer Billy Sharp sidelined with a hamstring injury it put even more pressure on Hayter who scored Rovers opening goal in five games in a row between October and November.

Hayter won the award ahead of Adel Taarabt - QPR, Steve Caulker - Bristol City and Grant Holt - Norwich.

I am shocked that a player from little old Donny can even be considered for the award let alone win it. I am shocked.
