DRFC Webster returns to Rovers

Doncaster Rovers have recalled Byron Webster from his loan spell at Hereford United.

The defender was due to return to the Keepmoat after Hereford`s game this weekend against Macclesfield at Edgar Street.

With the busy Christmas and New Year period looming Rovers decided to call Webster back early from his loan spell.

Webster recently returned for to first team action after a long-term injury that had kept him out since January.

The 23 year old made his first appearance of the season against Derby County in October and has gone on to make three appearances for Rovers so far this season.

Webster made just two starts for Hereford during his loan spell in the away defeats at Lincoln 3-1 and Shrewsbury 4-0.

He will go straight into the squad for Friday night`s home game with Middlesbrough.

Another defender crisis, this must be about the third time this season.

I'm glad to see him back, I have liked what I have seen from him and think he could be a good player with regular football.
