DRFC Rovers confident game will definitely be on

Doncaster Rovers have issued a statement on their official website that tonight`s game with Middlesbrough is still definitely on.

Freezing conditions have once again swept the area and temperatures plummeted overnight on Thursday and are not expected to rise much above freezing before kick off.

Rovers have stated that there is no danger of the game being lost to the weather and that the pitch as been covered to protect it from the elements.

Rovers last home game against Barnsley two weeks ago fell foul to the weather after heavy snowfall and low temperatures hit the area.

They will be keen to get back on the pitch and rectify last weekend`s poor performance at Leicester City when they lost 5-1.

Rovers are once again promoting the game with tickets for adults just £15.

They have said this before, with temperatures plummeting again tonight the pitch could quite easily freeze with no undersoil heating once the covers are removed.

It better be on, it feels like ages since we had an home game.
