DRFC Derby County P-P Doncaster Rovers

DRFC Derby County P-P Doncaster Rovers

Doncaster Rovers clash at Pride Park against Derby County is off.

With all the bad weather we have had up and down the country recently, the pitch was not an issue.

The game had to be postponed after negotiations with the Football League and referee because of a power problem in the West Stand.

Derby had a power failure in the West Stand on Christmas Day and Derby quickly acquired a generator to run power to the stand that holds the changing rooms.

Unfortunately, there was a problem today around lunchtime that left them with no option but to call the game off.

To lose the game and not because of the weather is a gutter!

They weren't sure that the fllodlights would work throughout the game and the kick off might have had to have been delayed. They might as well have had a go as most Rovers fans were there by the time it was called off.
