Vital Doncaster looks at the head to head record between Rovers and Scunthorpe at Rovers throughout the years.
The two sides have met on 30 previous occasions at Rovers with the home side winning 13, Scunthorpe 9 and 8 draws.
They have met on two occasions at the Keepmoat since Rovers moved there in 2007. They have so far produced eleven goals with a 2-2 draw and a 4-3 win for Rovers.
The 4-3 win was at the back end of last season when both sides had nothing to play for.
In an enthralling game the visitors took the lead through Gary Hooper on 19 minutes but that lead was short lived when Jay Emmanuel-Thomas equalised for Rovers within three minutes.
Rovers took the lead on the stroke of half time through Jordan Mutch only for Scunthorpe to be back on level terms eight minutes into the second half through Paul Hayes.
Five minutes later and James Hayter fired Rovers into the lead for a second time.
Gary Hooper brought the Iron level again with six minutes remaining and the game looked to be heading for a draw until Shelton Martis scored with a powerful header in the final minute.
Rovers are unbeaten in the last four encounters on home soil.
The last time Scunthorpe won at Rovers was in the FA Cup during the 2001/02 season when they went away with a 3-2 win.
They have met on thirteen occasions since the last time there was a goalless draw at Rovers.
The last occasion was during the Associate Members Cup in 1990/91, Scunthorpe went on to win 4-3 on penalties.
