DRFC Wolves v Doncaster Head to Head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head to head record between Wolves and Doncaster Rovers at Molineux over the years.

The two sides have only ever met on three occasions at Molineux with the home side winning two and Rovers one.

Rovers solitary win came during the 1985/86 season when two stunning strikes from Colin Douglas all three points in a 2-1 win.

The last time they met was on the final day of the 2008/09 season when Wolves won 1-0 thanks to a last minute goal from Richard Stearman.

In the first game at the Keepmoat just over a week ago a stunning strike for Milijas gave Wolves the lead only for Rovers to go in at half time 2-1 ahead thanks to strikes from Billy Sharp and James Hayter.

Wolves earned a replay when Steve Hunt equalised from the penalty spot.

I was at the game when Duggie score two wonder strikes. All the fans were behind one goal with two stands closed and the other about 30 yards from the pitch. He had no fans to celebrate with when he scored as they were both at the other end of the pitch.
