DRFC Premiership referee in charge on Tuesday

Premiership referee Mark Halsey will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers welcome Ipswich Town to the Keepmoat on Tuesday.

The Lancashire official has taken charge of 23 games so far this season showing 51 yellow cards and 1 red.

The last time he took charge of Rovers was during the 2008/09 season when he officiated the FA Cup clash at home against Aston Villa.

Halsey will go down in Rovers history as the first referee to take charge of a game at the Keepmoat when he took charge of the 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town on New Years Day 2007.

The last time he took charge of Ipswich was just three weeks ago when they were beaten 3-0 at Arsenal in the Carling Cup semi final second leg.

Referee: M.R Halsey (Lancashire)
Assistants: A. Garratt & T. Massey
Fourth official: G. Sutton

Rovers usually like Halsey in charge. I know John Ryan rates him as the best in the Premier League.
