DRFC Derby v Doncaster Head To Head

Vital Doncaster looks back at the previous encounters between Derby and Doncaster Rovers..

The two sides have only met on eight previous occasions at Derby with Derby winning five, Doncaster two and one draw.

Rovers have won on their previous two Championship visits to Pride Park.

Derby were Rovers first opponents when they returned to the Championship in 2008 and they left Pride Park with all three points thanks to a solitary Lewis Guy goal.

Derby did win the last encounter at Pride Park when Jay McEveley scored a last minute goal to send them through to the fourth round of the FA Cup in a 1-0 win.

The two sides have already met this season at the Keepmoat, Derby enjoyed their first league win over Rovers in six attempts with a 3-2 win.

despite both sides clearly struggling, I just go with Derby, if for no other reason than they are at home.
