DRFC Doncaster v QPR Head To Head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head to head record between Rovers and Queens Park Rangers at Belle Vue and the Keepmoat over the years.

The two sides have only ever met on seven occasions with Doncaster winning five, Rangers one and one draw.

The first meeting between the two sides came in a Second Division encounter in 1950/51 when Rangers won for the only time at Belle Vue 2-0.

The two sides have met twice at the Keepmoat in the past two seasons with Rovers winning both encounters 2-0.

In the 1984/85 season, Rovers, then in the Third Division beat top flight Rangers 1-0 in the FA Cup thanks to a David Harle goal.

I have still got a video of the cup win. Harle didn't score many goals but it was a great strike from the edge of the box.
