DRFC Doncaster v Preston Form Guide

DRFC Doncaster v Preston Form Guide

Vital Doncaster looks at the form of both Doncaster and Preston ahead of a crucial relegation clash at the Keepmoat on Tuesday.

Doncaster

Despite dominating for long periods on Saturday Rovers lost 3-1 at home against Cardiff after conceding twice in the last few minutes.

Rovers have now won just two of their ten home games in 2011.

They have now gone six home games without a win, since beating Burnley at the beginning of February.

So far this season at home they have won seven, drawn six and lost seven.

Rovers are currently two places above the relegation zone with 44 points from 40 games.

Preston
Preston came away from Portsmouth on Saturday with a point in a 1-1 draw.

They have won just one of their last fifteen away games when they won at Scunthorpe last month.

Despite their poor away form they have lost just one of their last six games away from home, winning one, drawing four and losing one.

Preston have seen an upturn in form since the arrival of new manager Phil Brown and they have lost just one of their last five games, picking up ten points from a possible fifteen.

So far this season away from home they have won three, drawn seven and lost ten.

Preston are currently in 23rd place with 35 points from 40 games and seven points from safety.

Recent away form: DDDWLD

A win would be brilliant but they can't afford to lose especially with the bottom four playing each other at the weekend.
