DRFC Tickets are free for huge Palace game

Doncaster Rovers are giving tickets away for free for the huge game with Crystal Palace on Good Friday.

With both sides currently hovering just above the relegation zone after the weekends results the game is a must win for both sides and the club want a full house to get behind the side.

Chairman John Ryan is urging the Doncaster town folk to get behind the side and help them stay in the Championship after what has been a bad 2011.

"Speaking on the official website , Ryan said, "It is essential that everyone within Doncaster gets behind our team.
"With us giving away tickets for free, cost is not an issue and there is not excuse for not being here - so please come down to the Keepmoat Stadium and help us ensure that we are playing Championship football next season."

Rovers have had an horrendous year with injuries that at one time saw them have fourteen players on the injury list.

After starting 2011 with a home win over Scunthorpe United that left them just three points outside the play off positions the side look set for a real challenge for a play off place.

Since then though Rovers have picked up just twelve points from the following twenty games and are now just five points above the relegation zone with four games remaining.

John Ryan is once again going to take his place in the South Stand for the game with the supporters, like he did recently for the home game with Watford.

On that occasion Ryan called it a 'blitz mentality` and he wants to see a full Keepmoat Stadium on Friday act as the twelfth man and help carry Rovers to victory.

Tickets are restricted to a first come first served basis and fans are restricted to two per person.
