DRFC Rovers recall Burge from loan spell

Doncaster Rovers have recalled Ryan Burge from his loan spell at Oxford United.

Rovers used a recall clause in his contract to bring him back to the Keepmoat as Rovers look to pick up essential points from their final four games to remain in the Championship.

Burge only joined Rovers in January and made just one substitutes appearance for Rovers in their 6-0 home defeat to Ipswich Town.

Oxford boss Chris Wilder was disappointed to lose the youngster, speaking on the Oxford official website, he said, 'Ryan has done well during his time here with us on loan and we are disappointed to see him go.
'We wish him all the best with his future.'

The 22 year old joined League Two side Oxford United in February and he made five starts for the U`s, with the side losing just one game during his time at the Kassam Stadium.
