DRFC Four offered new deals

Doncaster Rovers have offered new deals to four out of contract players.

Neil Sullivan, Sam Hird, James Chambers and Ryan Burge have all been offered new deals.

Goalkeeper Sullivan has made over 200 appearances for the club since joining during the 2006/07 season.

The 41 year old signed a new one-year deal at the club last summer and continued to be the regular number one, making 34 appearances in all competitions.

Defender Hird has made over 100 appearances for Rovers since joining in 2008.

The 23 year old made 35 appearances last season in all competitions.

Defender Chambers has made almost 100 appearances during his three seasons at the Keepmoat.

The 30 year old had a horrendous season with injuries last season and made just 7 appearances in all competitions.

Midfielder Burge has made just one substitutes appearance since signing on a short-term deal in January.

The 22 year old enjoyed a loan spell with League Two side Oxford United towards the end of the season where he made 5 appearances.

Surprised to see new deals offered to a few of them. I thought Sulli was finished with Rovers. Chambers was excellent in his first two season but injuries did him last season.
