DRFC Birmingham clash moved

Doncaster Rovers have moved their home championship clash with Birmingham City in March 2012.

The game scheduled to take place on Saturday March 30th will now take place on Friday March 29th due to a race meeting at Doncaster racecourse on the same weekend.

It is the second Rovers game to be changed so far this season, with Vital Doncaster mentioning last week that the trip to Watford on New Years Eve will kick off at the earlier time of 1pm.

They have let a lot of the race meetings and football take place on the same day since the move to the keepmoat but with Birmingham probably going to bring a lot and the race meeting is the Lincoln, there will also be a big turn out at turf moor.

I don't know why we don't play more games on a Firday night, they used to be great at Belle Vue. Also the chance to get a few of the floating fans through the gates.
