'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Is this the season?

After years of suffering travelling to grounds such as Leigh RMI and Forest Green Rovers, will this be the season where Penney's men become legends and written down in the history books? This seasons main aim is quite simply promotion however way it happens promotion is a priority. Of course you would think so after considerable investment from our generous chairman, we now can proudly boast arguably the best team in the league and strength in depth to match aswell. We now eagerly counting down the days till we move into the Lakeside, and hopefully this will be matched with promotion and the promise of Championship football.

Now Pennney has the players, the set-up and his own staff behind him plus he has distinguished any players who actually think they are better than they are(McIndoe). He has to produce the goods and the players have to produce consistent performances week in week out. This has been the problem in the past as we compete and usuallly win against the so called 'big boys' and compete miserably against the weakened teams however I know it's a cliche but we must take every game as it comes and every game we must win!

So our job as fans is to get behind the team and sing our hearts out for the Rovers as we move for the CHAMPIONSHIP!
