DRFC Rovers sign Bury youngster

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll has confirmed the signing of Bury winger Kyle Bennett.

O`Driscoll confirmed the signing when speaking in the Doncaster Free Press "He`s definitely signed and will be joining us for the start of pre-season training on Monday."

Rovers will have to pay a fee for the youngster, with negotiations with Bury ongoing, "We are still talking to Bury about the fee and I`m hopeful we will be able to agree something without it going to tribunal," confirmed O`Driscoll.

Bennett helped the shakers to promotion from League Two last season and is said to be a 'speedy winger.`

The 20 year old made 33 appearances for Bury last season after being released by Wolverhampton Wanderers after coming through their youth academy.

Looks a good signing and a youngster. Hoped we would have tied him to a longer deal.
