DRFC Sullivan signs new deal

Goalkeeper Neil Sullivan has signed a new one year deal at the Keepmoat.

The 42 year old continues to defy his age and was once again a regular in the starting line up last season.

The veteran joined Rovers originally on loan in November 2006 and as now made over 200 appearances for the club, this was after his former boss at Leeds United, Dennis Wise said he was out of shape and not good enough.

Last season was the first time he has been out of the side since his arrival, after suffering his first major injury at the club. Despite this, he still went on to make 34 appearances.

He will be competing for the number one spot with Gary Woods this season, who made his breakthrough last season in the absence of Sullivan.

If anything I think he should be back up to Woods this season. His experience will still be a great help around the Keepmoat.
