DRFC Around a dozen enjoying trial at Rovers

Doncaster Rovers are currently giving trials to around a dozen players as they are put through their paces in pre season.

The trialists reported for training on Monday with the rest of the squad at the start of pre season training.

Youngster Ellis Deeney - Aston Villa, Kevin McDonald - Burnley, Luke Summerfield - Plymouth Argyle, Rowan Vine - Queens Park Rangers, Neil Trotman - Preston North End and Barnsley player Martin Devaney are all players that have been identified from pictures on the official website.

As reported in an earlier article Richard Naylor is training with Rovers despite his deal with Rovers stalling last week.

There are also a number of other players having a trial with the club.

Fans will get an early chance to see some of the trialists in action this Thursday, as Rovers play their first pre season friendly at Armthorpe Welfare.
