DRFC Rovers going all continental

Doncaster Rovers are going continental with an Algerian and a Cypriot currently training with the club.

Algerian defender Rachid Bouhenna is currently with the club after being released by French second division side Sedan.

The 19-year-old has also been linked with a move to a number of other English clubs including Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

The central defender has already played for Algeria at international level when he made his debut against Senegal in May. He will be hoping to be in the squad for next years summer Olympics qualifying game against Zambia on August 20th.

Rovers are also giving a trial to Cypriot Marinos Andreou.

The 18 year old spent last season in England with fellow championship side Middlesbrough and was part of their academy side

The striker has represented Cyprus at under 16, 17 and 19 level.

The pair are amongst a large number of players currently training with Rovers during pre season.
