McCannon to sign?

Mark McCannon is is talks with Rovers following a good display on Saturday against Real Sociedad.

The striker, who once moved for 100,000, impressed against the La Liga team although Mickey Walker may watch him against Notts County before making a final decision.

Striker Derek Asamoah, who was also on trial, has been released.
