DRFC Trialist signs for Rochdale

Neil Trotman who started pre season with Doncaster Rovers has signed for Rochdale.

The 24-year-old defender has signed a two-year deal at Spotland after his release from Preston North End.

Trotman was one of twelve trialists to report for the start of pre season training at the Keepmoat.

Only five of the trialists have spent this week with Rovers on their outward bounds centre in Cumbria although boss Sean O`Driscoll hasn`t ruled out the return of some of the players on their return to Doncaster.

Rowan Vine, Ellis Deeney, Kevin McDonald, Oscar Radford and Rachid Bouherra all travelled with the squad to Cumbria.

Rovers have so far signed five players this summer with James Baxendale and Richard Naylor (Leeds United), Tommy Spurr (Sheffield Wednesday), Kyle Barnett (Bury) and Chris Brown (Preston North End) the players to sign.
