DRFC Spurs youngster joins Rovers

Doncaster Rovers have signed young Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason on a one year loan deal.

The 20-year-old spent time on loan at the Keepmoat last season but injuries caused him to miss most of the season, with him making just fifteen appearances.

The England under 20 international who is predominantly a midfielder can also play in attack.

Mason could make his first appearance in Rovers final pre season friendly at Grimsby Town on Friday night.

I have always liked Mason and he has great potential, but he does need to toughen up physically, but if he can add this, and avoid the injury niggles that disrupted so much of last season, he will be a great addition to your side.
