DRFC Ryan asks fans to help finance loan signing

Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan is asking fans to help him finance a loan player as the club are already gripped by an injury crisis.

Rovers have already lost Billy Sharp, James Hayter and Ryan Mason through injury in the opening two games this season.

Loyal Rovers man Ryan, is asking fans to buy half time draw tickets at the game against West Ham United on Saturday, with an extra special prize added to the usual 350 prize.

On offer is either a signed, framed shirt of either Billy Sharp or James Hayter from Saturday`s game at Brighton.

Speaking on the official website, Ryan said, "Once again we have been dealt a blow, as our players end up injured leaving Sean with a depleted squad. I need you to help me and Sean by coming to the game on Saturday and buying a half-time draw ticket to help my 'loan star fund`".

Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll has already brought in nine players during the summer as Rovers aim to defy the odds of bookies favourites for relegation.

With the budget spent on players, Ryan is hoping that the fans will support the half time draw and help to finance the loaning of a player, to help them through the injury crisis that sees ten players on the injured list already.

Rovers still have a strong starting eleven but another player would go along way to help Rovers as a number of the injured players are still expected to be on the sidelines for quite a while yet.

John Ryan deserves everyone`s support after what he has put into the club, so make sure you take a few extra quid with you to the game on Saturday and buy those tickets.
