DRFC Doncaster v West Ham Match Officials

Scott Mathieson will be the man in charge when Doncaster Rovers entertain West Ham United in their first home championship game of the season on Saturday.

The Cheshire official has taken charge of two games already this season. He was in charge of the opening championship game of the season last Friday night when Hull City entertained Blackpool. In his two games so far, he has shown four yellow cards.

Last season he took charge of 35 games, showing 86 yellow cards (2.45 per game) and 2 reds.

Mathieson twice took charge of Rovers last season. He was in charge of the 2-1 home win against Millwall and the 1-1 draw with Preston.

Despite being on the national list since 1997 this will be the first time he has taken charge of West Ham.

Referee: Scott Mathieson (Cheshire)
Assistants: Paul Davison & Tony Peart
Fourth official: Adrian Holmes

I always remember him for sending off Mark Hume in the opening ten minutes of a cup clash at Rushden in the 90's.
