DRFC Rovers sign Manchester United youngster

Doncaster Rovers have signed Manchester United defender Reece Brown on an initial one month loan deal.

The 19 year old is the younger brother of former United defender Wes Brown.

Brown has been with United since he was nine year old and as come through the clubs youth system.

He is yet to make a first team appearance for the Old Trafford club and he spent one month on loan at Bradford City last season, making three appearances.

He has also represented England at under 19 and 20 level and he was part of the squad that appeared in the under 20 World Cup in Colombia.

Brown played in all four England games and he helped the defence keep three clean sheets in the group stages as they drew all three of their games 0-0.

They eventually bowed out in the second round when they were beaten 1-0 by Nigeria.

Brown will go straight into the squad for tonight`s game with Nottingham Forest.
