DRFC Derby v Doncaster Head To Head

Doncaster Rovers go head to head with Derby County on Saturday at Pride Park and we look at their record over the years.

Saturday will be only the tenth time that the two have met at Derby.

The home side have won five, Doncaster three and one draw.

The first ever encounter between the pair came in the 1953/54 season when Derby won 2-0 at The Baseball Ground.

Rovers overall record at The Baseball Ground was poor, losing four and drawing one.

Since the Rams moved to Pride Park Rovers have much the better record, winning three and losing one.

Rovers have won on their previous three Championship visits to Pride Park.

Derby were Rovers first opponents when they returned to the Championship in 2008 and they left Pride Park with all three points thanks to a solitary Lewis Guy goal.

When the two clubs met during the 2009/10 season, Rovers again claimed all three points thanks to goals from Billy Sharp and James Coppinger.

Derby did win an FA Cup clash at Pride Park later in the season when Jay McEveley scored a last minute goal to send them through to the fourth round of the FA Cup in a 1-0 win.

Rovers haven`t won in the Championship for sixteen games since winning 3-1 at Pride Park last season, thanks to two goals from Billy Sharp and one from Joseph Mills.
