DRFC O'Driscoll - We got our reward

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll felt his side got their reward and could have gone on to win the game after coming from behind to claim a 1-1 draw against Bristol City at the Keepmoat Stadium.

As seems to be the usual this season, Rovers fell behind after not looking troubled for most of the first half when Albert Adomah scored in the last minute of the first half.

Rovers missed a great chance to draw level early in the second half when James Hayter saw his spot kick saved by former England goalkeeper David James in the Bristol City goal.

Hayter atoned for his miss soon afterwards when he brought Rovers level.

The goal spurred Rovers on in the final twenty minutes and they could have quite easily have claimed all three points but after their start to the season, O`Driscoll was perhaps grateful to claim the point. "We kept playing the right way and we gained our reward. It was a match we might have won but that`s been the case on more than one occasion this season so I`m thankful we got a point," said the Rovers boss.

Reece Brown almost claimed all three points for Rovers in the dying seconds but he couldn`t keep his header down from close range.

Rovers aren't conceding many, its at the other end where the main problem is.
