DRFC Break comes at the right time
The international break has come at just the right time for injury hit Doncaster Rovers.
The club are once again being jinxed with a lengthy injury list but with the international break, it has given some players the chance to return to fitness.
Rovers were boosted by the return of Brian Stock, Shelton Martis, James O`Connor and Mark Wilson in the week prior to the international break with all four included in the Carling Cup tie with Leeds United.
The two week break will hopefully see these four players gain more fitness in time for the trip to Cardiff City next time out.
Also moving in on a return is Ryan Mason who suffered ligament damage in the Carling Cup game with Tranmere Rovers.
Whilst it is doubtful that he will be ready in time for the Cardiff game, he is more hopeful of being ready for the trip to Reading the following week.
James Coppinger will hopefully be available for Cardiff after missing the last two games with a calf injury.
Rovers top scorer Billy Sharp is still a way from fitness with him still in a protective boot following ligament damage on the opening day at Brighton.
Adam Lockwood, Martin Woods and James Chambers are continuing their rehabilitation after long-term injuries.

Great to see a few back on the firnge of the first team. Hoepfully we will have all the long term injured back by christmas, we just can't afford many more.
