DRFC Duo edging closer to first team return

Doncaster Rovers duo Brian Stock and Shelton Martis continued their return to full fitness by completing ninety minutes in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday.

The pair came through unscathed in a 1-0 win over Grimsby Town at Rovers training ground and assistant boss Richard O`Kelly says the pair have reached another milestone in their comebacks from long-term injuries.

Speaking on the official website, O`Kelly said, "They both came through well and it was a personal milestone for them both."

Mark Wilson also played in the game having only just returned to full fitness, after suffering an injury in pre season at Barrow.

Neil Sullivan, Sam Hird, Giles Barnes also played along with summer signings Oscar Radford and James Baxendale.

On loan Chelsea player Milan Lalkovic scored the only goal of the game in the second half for Rovers.
