DRFC O'Driscoll - Big game for both sides

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll says Saturday`s game with Reading is important for both sides with them both struggling at the foot of the championship table.

The two clubs fill the bottom two places in the championship with Reading managing just one win so far this season, whilst Rovers still await their first win after six games.

Speaking on the official website, O`Driscoll said, 'Obviously confidence on both sides has not been sky-high but it's important that we go into the game believing we can play well rather than just hoping that will be the case.
'It's a big game for both teams but it's been one of our strengths that when we have been in this sort of situation in the past we have shown self belief - and that's what we have to do again.'

Reading are still suffering a hangover from their play off final defeat to Swansea in May.

They are also getting used to life without striker Shane Long who moved to West Brom during the summer after netting 28 times for Reading last season.

O`Driscoll is boosted by the return of club captain Brian Stock and Shelton Martis who both completed 90 minutes in a behind closed doors friendly in midweek after long-term injuries.

Really don't want to lose this one or there will be a big gap appearing.

A win for Rovers would be massive. Lot of pressure on Reading at home after a poor start.
