Doncaster Rovers meet Crystal Palace at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday, for only the eighth time in their histories in Doncaster.
In the previous seven, Doncaster have the slightly better record, winning three to the eagles two and two have been drawn.
The first ever meeting came during the 1959/60 season when Palace won a Fourth Division clash 2-1.
The following season Palace also left Belle Vue with maximum points in a 5-1 win.
Doncaster won the next two clashes, both coming in the League Cup.
In the 1975/76 season, Doncaster progressed in the competition with a 2-1 victory.
When the sides next met during the 1981/82 season, Doncaster won a first leg clash 1-0 before losing in extra time at Palace 2-0 to lose 2-1 on aggregate.
They ten had to wait 27 years for the next game between the pair when Doncaster won a Championship clash 2-0.
When the two sides clashed last season, they shared the points in a 0-0 draw towards the end of the season.
The game was played in front of a full house at the Keepmoat after the Rovers board decided to give tickets away for free to try and generate an atmosphere in a relegation six pointer.
