DRFC Doncaster Rovers v Hull Head To Head

Doncaster Rovers welcome Hull City to the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night hoping to build on their win on Saturday and keep up their decent record against the visitors at home.

Tuesday will be the twenty-third meeting between the two at Doncaster with the home side enjoying twelve wins, Hull five and five have been drawn.

Rovers are unbeaten in the last five meetings and they have won the only previous meeting at the Keepmoat Stadium.

That came last season, when goals from Martin Woods, Billy Sharp and James Coppinger helped secure a 3-1 win with Nicky Barmby replying for Hull.

The first ever meeting between the two came during the 1930/31 season when Hull left Belle Vue with the points in a 2-0 win.

Rovers enjoyed their first win the following season when they won 2-1.

Rovers best ever victory came during the 1935/36 season when they put six past Hull in a 6-1 win.

Hull enjoyed their best win during the 1950/51 season when they won 4-2.

Hull were the visitors to Belle Vue when the venue hosted it`s highest ever attendance. 37,149 crammed into the old ground during the 1948/49 season when the sides shared a goalless draw.

Didn't realise Rovers had such a good record against Hull. Not bad for a 'pub team' ;-)

Hopefully the win on Saturday will have given the lads plenty of confidence to start well.
