DRFC Peterborough v Doncaster Head To Head

Doncaster Rovers travel to London Road on Saturday to face Peterborough United hoping to keep up their good recent record there.

The two sides have met previously on 17 occasions with Peterborough winning 9, Doncaster 5 and 3 draws.

Despite Peterborough having the better record at home, Doncaster are unbeaten in their last four visits, winning the last three.

The two sides met for the first time in a Fourth Division clash during the 1960/61 season when Peterborough enjoyed their biggest victory over Doncaster with a 6-2 win.

Rovers best win came during the 2004/05 season when they travelled home with a 2-0 victory.

The last time the two sides clashed was in a championship fixture during the 2009/10 season.

Rovers came from behind inside the final quarter of the game to record a 2-1 win.

Gareth Roberts brought Rovers level and a last minute winner from John Oster secured all three points.
