DRFC Saunders adds to backroom staff

New Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has brought in two members of his former backroom staff at Wrexham.

Brian Carey arrives as his assistant manager whilst fitness coach Mal Purchase will be able to sort out Rovers crippling run of injuries during 2011.

Carey also had a spell as manager of Wrexham before becoming assistant manager to Saunders after the dismissal of Brian Little, who he was also assistant manager too.

The 43 year old ends a long association with Wrexham having spent 20 years at the Racecourse Ground.

Purchase spent two years with Saunders at Wrexham and arrived at the Keepmoat alongside Saunders last weekend.

This just goes to show how far we have come under John Ryan. When Ken Richardson was at the club we had Malpractice and now we have Mal Purchase!!!
