Rovers Miss Out On Keeper
Goal Keeper Brian Murphy, released by Swansea at the end of last season, is currently on trial at Bristol City.
He had apparently been due to come to Rovers as cover for Alan Blayney, following the injury to Andy Warrington at the weekend.
Gary Johnson told Bristol's official site that 'Brian was about to link up with Doncaster but we persuaded to come on trial. He's got experience of League One and knows about Bristol City.'
Doncaster's third choice keeper Jan Budtz is still sidelined with a broken finger.
