DRFC West Ham defender arrives on loan

New Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has bolstered his squad for a second time since his arrival with the signing of Herita Ilunga on loan.

The West Ham United defender has signed on loan until January 3rd and he joins Pascal Chimbonda, who signed on a short-term deal last week, in arriving since Dean Saunders took over the reigns.

The 29-year-old Congo international brings a wealth of experience to the Keepmoat having played Champions League football with Toulouse during his time in France.

The left back was a regular in the West Ham side in the early weeks of the season, making five appearances. Ilunga played in West Ham`s 1-0 win at Doncaster in August but he has dropped down the pecking order since the arrival of George McCartney at the club.

Ilunga played in the behind closed doors friendly win over Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon

Another defender. With all the players coming back Rovers seem very top heavy with defenders.

I heard that you ws thinking of taking midfielder Dan Gosling from the Magpies?
herringthorpe
Gosling would be a good addition. I don't know what's going on, a Pub team like us is never linked with anyone
Reesie
Also being strongly linked with a host of other players. Where is all the money coming from to pay the wages of these players? Two weeks ago we was told that we couldn't afford to bring in anyone on loan.

Been reading the West Ham fans views. It doesn't look like they rate him very highly.
