DRFC Rovers giving trial to Kanga Akale?

Doncaster Rovers are giving a trial to Ivory Coast international Kanga Akale according to reports.

The Sun newspaper say Akale has been training with Rovers since the end of last week.

Akale has been released by French side Lens, who are one of the clubs associated with football agent Willie McKay, who is currently working with the club as a consultant.

The 30 year old has appeared 35 times for Ivory Coast, netting on 3 occasions.

He has spent the last eight years playing in France with Auxerre and Lens and he has also had spells on loan with Marseille and Spanish side Recreativo Huelva.
