DRFC Saunders denies deal with international

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has denied that the club will sign Moustapha Bayal Sall in January.

The St Etienne midfielder has been reported to have agreed a deal to sign for Rovers but Saunders says he hasn`t even spoken to the Senegal international midfielder.

Speaking in the Doncaster Free Press, Saunders said, "He`s someone we`ve looked at but I`ve not spoken to him.

Bayal Sall is contracted to St Etienne and I`m not going to go down the road of talking about another club`s player.

It`s certainly not the case that we`ve agreed anything with either him or his club."

The 25 year old is currently out of favour at St Etienne although he played for his national side, Senegal this week.

Bayal Sal is likely to be away with Senegal for a month in the African cup of nations between January and February next year.
