DRFC Rovers sign Premier League defender

Doncaster Rovers have signed Aston Villa defender Habib Beye on loan.

The 34-year-old Senegal international has signed for Rovers on a 93-day loan deal, subject to clearance, keeping him at the Keepmoat Stadium until February 21st.

Beye spent ten years in France with Paris St-Germain, RC Strasbourg and Marseille.

Following Newcastle`s relegation to the championship in 2009, he made the move to Aston Villa.

It's a bit tenuous calling him a premier league defender. Or did you mean Reserve PL? Mind you, even then ....... he hasn't been picked that often, even in the reserves!
