DRFC Rovers back in for Fortune after Hulse snub
Doncaster Rovers are going to step up their attempts to bring in striker Marc-Antoine Fortune from West Brom after Queens Park Rangers striker Rob Hulse turned down the opportunity to sign for Doncaster Rovers.
Hulse has recently returned from a knee injury and stated family reasons for not moving north to join Rovers.
Hulse is reported as saying that he does not want to move away from his family who live in the south of the country.
The 32 year old has spent most of his career in the midlands or north of the country having had spells at Crewe, Leeds, Sheffield United, West Brom and Derby.
The striker is yet to feature for QPR this season and now looks set to sign for fellow championship side Ipswich Town.
With the news that Hulse does not wish to join Rovers, it is believed that they are going to step up their interest once again in West Brom striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.
West Brom turned down an approach from Rovers for Fortune at the start of November.
Baggies boss Roy Hodgson turned down an approach from Rovers with regular striker Shane Long out through injury.
Fortune has not featured for West Brom since August and he has made just two appearances this season.
