DRFC - Saunders - They have all had a chance

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders says he has given the players a fair chance since his arrival at the Keepmoat but it`s time to bring in new players.

Saunders arrived at the Keepmoat towards the end of September and since his arrival, he has brought in seven new players, including two confirmed today and the possibility of more.

Saunders says he has given the squad he inherited from previous manager Sean O`Driscoll a fair chance but he is now going to bring in other players.

Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Saunders said, "I have given everyone a chance now.
"I have given all the players at the club a chance and the same things are happening.
"John Toshack, who was my manager for quite a few years used to say to me, tell them once, tell them twice, tell them three times and if they are not getting it and the penny doesn`t drop, then you have got to do something about it, and I have done."

Rovers fortunes have improved slightly since his arrival, picking up eleven points from ten games but they are still deep in relegation trouble and are currently bottom of the championship, six points from safety.

Seems like quite a few could be heading out the door as well then.

He's not scared of saying what he thinks. Seems intent on breaking up O'Driscoll's squad.
