DRFC Youngsters Rovers loan cancelled

Young Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has had his loan at Doncaster Rovers cancelled.

Mason joined Rovers in August but suffered a ankle injury in the Carling Cup tie with Tranmere that saw his sidelined for over a month.

The 20 year old has failed to hold down a regular place since his return. Parent club Tottenham decided that he would be better back at White Hart Lane having made just five appearances for Rovers all season.

from what I saw of his with you before his injury he was looking impressive, but that injurt effectively ended his chance with you as he never quite managed to make the impact. interestingly he scored for a Spurs XI side yesterday against Charlton

Shame to see him go. Never really given a chance under Saunders. Wouldn't be surprised to see him join O'Driscoll if he takes over a new club.
