DRFC Striker in Team of the Week

Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp has been included in this week`s championship team of the week for his performance against Southampton at the weekend.

Also in the side is former Doncaster defender Gordon Greer who helped Brighton keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 home win over Nottingham Forest.

The team was dominated by Yorkshire players with Leeds, Barnsley, Doncaster Rovers and Hull City making up seven of the eleven players picked.

The team of the week is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions in the weekend`s games.

We should have had a few in after the teams perfomance at the weekend. Only one player and we beat the league leaders, actually made them look ordinary.
