DRFC Injury jinx strikes again!

DRFC Injury jinx strikes again!

Doncaster Rovers injury jinx has hit again with on loan goalkeeper Carl Ikeme ruled out for around nine weeks.

Ikeme is on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers and looks set to miss the remainder of his loan period after suffering ligament damage to his thumb in training.

With Neil Sullivan also out through injury, youngster Gary Woods will get his opportunity once again after not featuring since the defeat at Cardiff in September.

Woods started the season as number one choice but previous boss Sean O`Driscoll dropped him in favour of Sullivan.

The youngster has only just returned from injury himself after suffering an injured collarbone.

I think they must have upset a gypsy or something this year. I wonder how many players have actually been injured at Rovers this year?

I'm sorry but its happening, time and time again and its not always muscular injuries. Thinks like this are just freak injuries. I think you might be right with the curse!
