DRFC Saunders - It was a good win
Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders said it was a good win against Leicester City as his side made it back-to-back home wins.
Rovers came from behind to beat big spending Leicester and are now within touching distance of moving out of the relegation places.
David Nugent had given the visitors the lead, something Saunders felt his side did not deserve.
Saunders told his side to stay in the game and he described the two goals that changed the game from Billy Sharp as brilliant.
Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Saunders said, "It was a good win, it has been coming. We have been playing well and we should have got something at Birmingham, we played well against Southampton and we should have got something at Millwall.
"I don`t think we deserved to be behind, I told them to stick in there and don`t go 2-0 down and be out of the game.
"We got on top of them and scored two brilliant goals."
Sharp continues his great scoring run for Rovers after netting his two goals.
He has now netted nine times this season in fifteen games and looks well set to beat his previous best of sixteen in a season for Rovers.
