DRFC Trio set to sign for Rovers
Doncaster Rovers look set to bring in three new players today according to Sky Sports sources.
Habib Bomago and Mamadou Bagayoko are reported to have been training at Cantley Park this week whilst manager Dean Saunders is also targeting former Liverpool midfielder Damien Plessis
29-year-old Bomago is a free agent after being released by French Ligue 1 side Nice.
The striker is vastly experienced, playing at the top level in France with Montpellier, Nantes, Marseille and Nice during his career as well as a short spell with Spanish side Celta Vigo.
32-year-old Bagayoko has spent the majority of his career playing in Franc but is currently playing in Greece withPAS Giannina .
The Striker has also made 15 international appearances for Mali scoring 11 goals.
Football agent Willie McKay is once again at the centre of the deals to bring the players into the club. Speaking on SkySports.com, McKay said, 'Both players trained yesterday and Dean was very impressed.
'Bamogo is a top player and I have been trying to get him over to the UK for some time.
'He is quick and strong and I believe he will prove to be one of the best players in the Championship when he arrives.
'Unfortunately we lost Marc-Antoine Fortune after he was recalled by West Brom, but Mamadou has the same attributes as Marc and I believe both players could prove a real difference for the side.
'They have both scored lots of goals in France and I am sure they will do the same in England and I'm sure Premier League clubs will be interested.'
23-year-old Plessis is currently playing in Greece with Panathinaikos after struggling to break into the Liverpool side.
The midfielder came through the junior ranks at top French side Lyon before being snapped up by Liverpool when he was just 19 in 2007.
Plessis has represented his native France at five different levels from under 17 to under 21.
