Boxing Day is Doncaster Rovers busiest fixture day in the clubs history and Vital Doncaster looks at the clubs record over the years.
Rovers have played 69 times previously on Boxing Day, winning 24, Losing 28 and drawing 17.
Their first ever Boxing Day game came in 1901. They were beaten 1-0 by Leicester City away, under their original name of Leicester Fosse.
Rovers had to wait until their fourth Boxing Day encounter to record their first win when they beat Bradford Park Avenue 1-0 at home.
Their best ever win came in 1925 when they beat Southport 6-1.
Nottingham Forest inflicted their heaviest defeat in 1935 when they lost 6-2.
Rovers have won seven and lost three of their games since the start of the new millennium.
Their last win came at Nottingham Forest in 2008 when Paul Heffernan twice, Martin Woods and Richie Wellens were on target in a 4-2 win.
The win was the start of Rovers surge up the championship table. Rovers went into the game bottom of the championship table but finished the season in fourteenth place.
Their last game on Boxing Day was in 2009 when they lost 1-0 at Coventry City.
Last year they were due to face Derby County at Pride Park, but the game was called off just hours before kick-off, due to a power cut in one of the stands.
