DRFC Saunders ready to unleash duo

DRFC Saunders ready to unleash duo

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders is looking forward to seeing new signings Habib Bamogo and Mamadou Bagayoko and could give debuts to the pair in the FA Cup against Notts County today.

The duo arrive at the Keepmoat for the remainder of the season after being released by their Greek clubs.

Rovers received international clearance for the pair earlier in the week and Saunders is ready to unleash the duo and Saunders believes the fans will like what they see.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Post, Saunders said, "The fans will like Bamogo. He is sharp and makes good runs. He works hard, plays with a lot of enthusiasm, and has looked really lively in training.

"Bagayoko is a different type of player - a big, strong, more robust player, with more experience. He`s been around and played at the highest level, although both have played in the Champions League."

Both Bamogo and Bagayoko are proven international footballers who have also played in the Champions League during their careers.

Rovers are still waiting for international clearance for midfielder Damien Plessis who signed for Rovers on the same day as Bamogo and Bagayoko.
