DRFC Diouf staying until end of season

Dean Saunders says a deal has been reached to keep El Hadji Diouf at the Keepmoat until the end of the season.

There is also the option of a further year according to Doncaster Rovers official page on twitter :@drfc_official, although Diouf is still to sign.

Diouf came to the end of his short-term deal with Rovers after the game at Hull City on Tuesday night.

Saunders said yesterday that the club was going to sit down and thrash out a deal to keep the player at the club.

The former African footballer of the year agreed in principal to an eighteen-month contract with the club over Christmas but had not put pen to paper.

Diouf has made ten appearances for the club, scoring three goals since making his debut against Middlesbrough at the start of November.

This is great news, especially after the departure of Sharp earlier this week.

We needed this. If he can stay injury free to the end of the season we have a great chance of staying up
