DRFC Is it hello not Bye Beye?

Radio Sheffield has reported that Doncaster Rovers are hoping to sign Habib Beye on a six-month deal today.

Beye made nine appearances for Rovers after signing for the club on loan from Aston Villa, towards the end of November.

The 34 year old is in the final six months of his current deal at Villa Park, having made just 17 appearances for the Premier League side since signing in August 2009.

Beye was due to come to the end of his loan at the Keepmoat after Saturday`s game with Reading but he will be serving the second game of a three match suspension for his sending off at Bristol City last month.

The former Senegal international had already served a one-match suspension having picked up five yellow cards in his first seven appearances for Rovers.

Rovers are also hoping to sign El Hadji Diouf on a six-month deal today after he came to the end of his short-term deal after the Hull City game on Tuesday night.
